Clean Rooms
ERG recently built two extremely modern plants to international specifications for multinational corporations:

Construction of an intraocular lens plant was supervised and managed by ERG for Pharmacia & Upjohn Limited, near Bangalore. This plant has Class 1000 and Class 10,000 clean rooms with walk-on ceilings. |

Construction of a plant to manufacture dialysis fluids, near Gurgaon (Haryana) for Baxter (India) Pvt Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Baxter HealthCare, USA. This plant included Class 10,000 and Class 100,000 clean rooms, of which some of the clean rooms were specifically designed for wet operations. In this project, ERG's responsibility included design and total supervision of the construction of the plant. |
In the electronics area also, ERG built one of the earliest purpose-built clean rooms in India for manufacture of hybrid micro circuits to Class 1000 and Class 10,000 specifications. This plant was also completely designed and built by ERG.
Over the years, ERG has been associated with construction of several projects for processing of foods and food supplements. As a result, we have acquired substantial experience and expertise in designing to GMP requirements, HACCP requirements, as well as Drug Administration requirements, appropriate to the plants constructed.
ERG is in a position to completely design, construct, install, test, certify and commission manufacturing facilities for pharmaceuticals, electronics and food processing industries, having clean area or specialized sanitary requirements.
ERG capability is this area extends not only to construction of clean rooms and other buildings in the plant, but also to design and installation of all related utilities including precision air-conditioning, sanitary compressed air systems, water systems for pure water and WFI, and instrumentation control system for process automation.
We also have designed purpose-built special purpose mixing equipment for liquid mixing and powder mixing including automatic dispensing and control instrumentation for complete cycle automation. Such systems have been installed at the plants designed and built by us for Novozymes India Pvt Limited, an Indian subsidiary of Novo Nordisk, Denmark.
